How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as a resource to leaders and employees regarding employee relations matters, Swig policies, and employment practices.
- In partnership with EEX Business Partner, investigate employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues, documenting findings and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Partner with leaders to address performance concerns, corrective actions, coaching, and employee separations.
- Provide guidance on the consistent application of Swig policies while helping minimize organizational risk.
- Maintain confidential employee records and documentation related to investigations, disciplinary actions, and other employment matters.
- Affiliate with unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other employment-related requests.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and Swig policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Legal and Operations, on employee relations and compliance matters as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and manager resources.
- Support additional EEX projects and initiatives as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Knowledge of employee relations principles, employment law, and Human Resources best practices.
- Ability to conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of Human Resources experience, with demonstrated experience in employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations is preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.
