Employee Experience Coordinator - Onboarding & Talent Acquisition

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for newly hired team members.
  • Design and deliver a consistent, inclusive onboarding journey that builds connection, clarity, and confidence for new team members.
  • Support managers and teams in supporting successful ramp-up.
  • Collect and analyze new hire feedback to drive data-informed improvements.
  • Deliver or support orientation sessions, ensuring accurate and engaging content.
  • Assign, track, and monitor required training and compliance activities.
  • Partner with IT, hiring managers, program leadership, and HR colleagues to ensure day one readiness.
  • Provide tools, templates, and guidance to help managers deliver consistent onboarding experiences.
  • Support managers in connection, belonging, and role clarity, including welcome practices and onboarding expectations.
  • Manage preboarding activities to ensure new hires are prepared and reduce first-day barriers.
  • Process new hire paperwork, set up in LMS and EHR systems, and add credentials as appropriate.
  • Develop and support training such as annual refresher training and tests.
  • Sources candidates and screens incoming applications and resumes.
  • Network, conduct preliminary screening, evaluate information, and highlight highly qualified candidates for Hiring Managers.
  • Review internal candidates and provide relevant information to Hiring Managers.
  • Initiate contact with potential external candidates, schedule interviews, participate in onsite interviews, and ensure timely processing of employment-related activities.
  • Select final candidates, conduct background and reference checks, collaborate with Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager to determine pay rate, and initiate the onboarding process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or related field.
  • Experience designing and delivering onboarding programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in onboarding and talent acquisition.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding software.
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to onboarding and talent acquisition.
