Talent And Employee Experience Coordinator
Full-time, non-exempt staff position (40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Hybrid schedule: three days on campus, two days remote.
About the role
The Talent & Employee Experience Coordinator supports the full employee lifecycle, spanning both talent acquisition and employee experience. This role ensures a seamless, supportive transition for individuals as they move from prospective employees to engaged, long-term colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Applicant Logistics:
- Create, update, and maintain job openings across platforms and within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage calendars to schedule interviews and align schedules for search committees and candidates.
- Monitor recruitment timelines to ensure efficient hiring.
- Candidate Care & Relationship Management:
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates, keeping them informed of their status.
- Support recruitment events and initiatives that promote Bucknell University as a great place to work.
- Onboarding and Pre-Employment Compliance:
- Facilitate the pre-employment clearance process, including background checks and compliance requirements.
- Prepare offers and preboarding paperwork.
- Handle scheduling, setup, and materials for New Staff Orientation.
- Employment Engagement & Culture:
- Support first-year employee milestones and broader employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate programs that celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
- Assist with employee surveys, listening sessions, and culture-building initiatives.
- HR Administration & Confidentiality:
- Prepare recruitment metrics and reports.
- Support paperwork and timelines for annual performance reviews.
- Provide administrative support for sensitive workplace issues while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Training & Leadership Development Coordination:
- Manage logistics and events for training and leadership development sessions.
- Track training compliance and completions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- 1 year of office experience or related administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with HRIS.
- 1 or more years of direct HR experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.
- Database management skills, with the ability to quickly master new systems.
- Demonstrated adherence to confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
Office environment; no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
Pay
Salary range: $21.17–$26.46 per hour. The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and overall compensation philosophy. This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
