Employee Benefits Sales Producer
About the role
This role is available in Mercer offices located in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Southfield, or Pittsburgh. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Mercer’s expertise to develop innovative sales strategies addressing healthcare, financial security, and career development challenges for employers and employees.
- Engage potential clients through sales cold calls, generate interest, and schedule meetings or presentations.
- Create sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address complex prospect needs and communicate the business value of internal services and offerings.
- Lead complex sales processes from identification to closing, including negotiating prices, facilitating product and expectation discussions, and securing beneficial financial outcomes for the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals
- Experience selling to companies with 100 - 5,000 employees
- Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products
- Strong network and ability to gain access to C-suite level executives

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,000 to $194,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
