Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual production goals.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in employee benefits, group health insurance, or a related field.
  • Strengthen communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM documentation.
  • Stay current on market trends, carrier products, compliance requirements, and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits programs.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, trade associations, and professional organizations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience selling group health and ancillary benefits products preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other employee benefits regulations preferred.
