Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual production goals.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in employee benefits, group health insurance, or a related field.
- Strengthen communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM documentation.
- Stay current on market trends, carrier products, compliance requirements, and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits programs.
- Represent the organization at networking events, trade associations, and professional organizations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
- Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience selling group health and ancillary benefits products preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems preferred.
- Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other employee benefits regulations preferred.
