About The Role

NavSav is building out its Employee Benefits division from the ground up, and we're looking for a producer who wants to build a book of business, not inherit one. This is an outside sales role focused on new business development, client retention, and organic growth within existing accounts. You'll own your territory, run your own pipeline, and get direct support from HUB leadership as you grow it.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business in the 50 – 1000 eligible employee employer market, with a target of 150k new annualized Employee Benefits revenue each year.
  • Run consistent daily prospecting activity: calls, meetings, referral outreach… because activity, not just closed deals, is what we track and coach to.
  • Develop and execute a written business plan for your territory, updated and reviewed regularly with your HUB leader.
  • Retain and grow existing client relationships, working alongside our account management team on renewals, plan design, and service issues.
  • Build relationships with Centers of Influence (CPAs, attorneys, HR consultants) to create a durable referral pipeline.
  • Understand plan design, funding options, and compliance well enough to advise clients — not just sell a product.
  • Use NavSav's CRM and sales tools to keep your pipeline current so leadership can forecast and support you accurately.
  • Represent NavSav at networking events, HR association meetings, and community functions across your territory.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3+ years of Employee Benefits sales experience, ideally in an independent agency or brokerage environment.
  • Active Life & Health insurance license.
  • A track record of hitting new business goals: you can point to real numbers.
  • Comfortable being self-directed. We'll coach and support you, but this isn't a role where someone hands you a book of business.
  • Strong working knowledge of plan design, funding arrangements, and benefits compliance basics.
  • Genuine relationship-builder. Clients and referral partners should want to keep talking to you after the sale closes.
  • Comfortable with the grind of outside sales is a door-opening, relationship-building role, not a desk job.
