Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate Attorney - Midlevel to Senior

About the role

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a mid to senior level associate to join its expanding ECVC group in the Los Angeles, San Francisco or Palo Alto offices.

Responsibilities

• Representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions)
• Working with funds that invest in these companies
• Handling cases ranging from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders

Requirements

• At least four years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm
• Stellar academic credentials and references
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Quantitative and Excel skills
• The ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited institution

Pay

Compensation range: $310,000 to $420,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
