BluePearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is proud to offer our Emergency Veterinarian Mentorship Training Program, EmERge. The program is offered beginning in January and in June annually.

Program Structure

• Phase 1 (Weeks 1-14): 4 Weeks of Bootcamp, 2 Weeks of Specialty Rotations, 8 Weeks of ER Shifts.
• Phase 2 (Weeks 15-32): Increased Responsibility, ER Shift Focus, Ongoing Mentorship, Exposure to Diverse Cases, Ongoing Didactics.
• Phase 3 (Weeks 33-52): Independent Case Management, Continued Collaboration, Advanced Skill Application, Mentor Support, Ongoing Didactics.

Pay

• Phase 1 (Weeks 1-14): $120,000
• Phase 2 (Weeks 15-32): $120,000
• Phase 3 (Weeks 33-52): Full-time ER Clinician market rate salary plus quarterly production bonus
