About the role

ChristianasCare is seeking full-time Nurse Practitioner candidates to join their Emergency Medicine team. The role provides exceptional care to patients in four state-of-the-art Emergency Departments located in Delaware and Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to patients in four ED locations.
  • Work 32 hours per week, with a minimum of 1,504 work hours per year.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing and Certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP).
  • Dual Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP).
  • Dual Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP or ACNP) and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) and Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC).
  • Certification as an FNP who demonstrates eligibility for and the intent to sit for the ENP exam within one year of hire date.
  • At least 3000 hours of emergency medicine (EM) APRN experience and demonstration of ENP competencies.
  • Maintain relevant state medical licenses.
  • Demonstrate excellence in patient care.
  • Be a member in good standing of relevant ChristianaCare Medical/Dental Staff.

Qualifications

  • Licensure for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Register Nurse as set forth by the Delaware and Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or American College of Surgeons (ACS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

Pay

Annual Compensation Range: $125,361.00 - $161,327.00
