About the role

Sound Physicians is seeking a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Emergency Medicine experience to join the Emergency Department at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality patient care in an 18-bed emergency department with approximately 24,000 annual visits and a 13% admission rate.
• Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Led in quality to help our hospital achieve excellence across the ED care experience.

Requirements

• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Emergency Medicine experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in an emergency department setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Schedule

• This position can be exclusively nights or a mix of 8 night shifts and 4 day shifts per month.
• Day shift: 10a-8p.
• Night shift: 4p-2a.
