About the role

Advanced Veterinary Care is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Salt Lake City, UT. The position offers a $50K sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, real-time care for sick and injured pets
• Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans
• Partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality care
• Perform surgeries and deliver critical care
• Maintain an exceptional standard of service for every patient

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended

Pay

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
