Emergency Services Tech 1

Position Summary

The Emergency Services (ES) Tech helps provide care to patients in the Emergency Department/Immediate Care under the direction of the RN or MD. They also work as a team member and help promote the functioning of Emergency Services.

Job Requirements

• Required Certifications:
  • EMT: Emergency Medical Technician certified by the Oregon Department of Human Services - OR - by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
• Preferred Certifications:
  • CMOT: Certified Monitor Technician
  • PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
