Service Tech 1
About the role
Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. They also serve as a technical resource for both customers and the sales force.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors
- Provide technical support to customers and sales team
- Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment
- Act as a primary customer contact
Requirements
- Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds
- Pre-employment drug test and clean driving record required
- DOT physical required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay
The base pay range for this position in USA-NY-Cheektowaga is $24.50-$33.70 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. The number of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. A bonus opportunity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of benefits including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, disability, a 401(k) plan, profit sharing, and PTO/vacation.
