Emergency Room RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the role

This role involves providing direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients or caregivers.
• Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.

Qualifications and Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing as minimum education.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
• Emergency Department experience is preferred.
• Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness is essential.

Schedule

Shift involves three 12-hour days, supporting a 24/7 emergency service.
