Emergency Room RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

Join the Emergency Department team as a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The nurse will develop and implement individualized care plans, communicate effectively across care teams, and assess physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care in a fast-paced environment
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Ensure communication of care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain constant alertness to ensure patient safety

Requirements

• RN license required
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree necessary

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience
• Emergency Department experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
