Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication use, and post-treatment needs.
• Ensures patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance; actively participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents personalized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience preferred for advanced roles.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
