Emergency Room - Clinical Nurse (Nights)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural values.
• Maintain safety-sensitive duties requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license.
• Experience: No minimum required, but 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and demonstrate critical thinking.
