Emergency Room - Clinical Nurse (Nights)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, considering patient preferences and needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional aspects of patient well-being. Maintains a safe work environment, following safety protocols and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs, preferences, and barriers to involvement
• Educate patients and families on care management and post-treatment needs

Requirements

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness
