Emergency Response EMT

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and treatment.
• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatments while maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
• Perform activities such as splinting, oxygen administration, IV injections, wound treatment, and artificial resuscitation.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate ambulances following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and the organization's image.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• State Driver’s License and certified Advanced EMT
• CPR/BLS certifications
• Clean driving record
• Pass physical agility test
• Preferably some healthcare work experience
