About the role
We are seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Perform activities such as applying splints, administering oxygen or IVs, treating minor wounds, and artificial resuscitation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Operate ambulances safely in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
- Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and company image.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Validated state certification as an Advanced EMT
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass physical agility tests
- Some healthcare experience preferred
Pay
Competitive pay starting at $21.23 per hour.
