About the role

The Emergency Medicine Physician (Medical Director) will lead the emergency department team in Omaha, providing compassionate and expert care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of children and their families.
  • Join our dynamic healthcare team specializing in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Work 8-12 hour shifts, 144 hours per month, with app coverage during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with Hospitalists and Intensivists.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR.
  • Trauma level varies by hospital.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

  • Required - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Required - Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska.
