Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Opportunity

About the role

Full-time Locum Emergency Medicine Physician position at a Level IV Trauma Center with an annual ED volume of 14,000 and medium acuity. The facility has 10 ED beds and requires 24-hour physician coverage daily. EPIC EMR system with Dragon dictation is used.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care efficiently within medium acuity settings
• Collaborate with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Family Medicine (FM)
• If not ABEM certified, must have ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• Active Mississippi medical license and DEA

• Strong communication and clinical skills in emergency care
