Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for a Level III trauma center near Lake Ozark, MO. You will provide emergency care during 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, in a facility with 116 beds, 35 ED beds, and a 36,000 annual ED volume.

Shift coverage ranges from 36 to 48 hours, with additional support from advanced practitioners. The emergency department features isolation beds, trauma bays, GYN and pediatric rooms, and fast track services. You will utilize EMR systems such as Meditech and Dragon.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage trauma cases, pediatric care, and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Active Missouri medical license and DEA certification.
• Board certification in ABEM or FM/IM with at least 3 years of ER experience.
• Current ACLS and ATLS certifications.
