Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Opportunity

About the role

The role requires a current Florida medical license and DEA. With 3+ years of Family Medicine/Internal Medicine experience, the physician must be able to work a minimum of 8 shifts per month at multiple facilities, handling procedures such as intubation, central access, lumbar puncture, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Manage Level 4/5 cases with vertical patient load
• Handle a variety of emergency procedures
• Work shifts of 12 hours, including AM and PM options
• Manage up to 28-30 beds at the facility
• Work with APPs depending on location
• Manage a typical patient load of approximately 45 days for emergency privileges and standard privileges within 90 days

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have current Florida medical license and DEA. 3+ years of Family Medicine/Internal Medicine experience is required, along with the ability to work a minimum of 8 shifts per month at multiple facilities.
