About the role
We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a Level IV Trauma Center with an annual ED volume of 14,000 and medium acuity. This is a full-time role with 24-hour physician coverage daily.
Facilities
- 10 ED beds
- EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat emergency cases
- Ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with the medical team
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Family Medicine (FM)
- If not certified by ABEM, must hold ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
- Active Mississippi medical license
- Active DEA certification
