Emergency Medicine Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves managing patient care, personnel, equipment maintenance, and data collection within a high-acuity, fast-paced unit. The role includes staff hiring, training, performance evaluation, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals. Responsibilities also encompass developing staffing plans, managing budgets, overseeing patient interventions, and maintaining compliance with policies. Key Duties: Supervising staff performance, conducting evaluations, and fostering professional development.Participating in staffing, revenue, and expense planning, responding to operational changes.Coordinating patient care based on assessments and medical treatments, ensuring quality and documentation compliance.Managing staff schedules, payroll, and disciplinary actions, and leading team meetings.Supporting operational goals through staff productivity management. Qualifications & Skills: RN license required.Minimum of 2-5 years nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with 5-10 years of experience and less than 2 years of supervisory experience. Additional Preferred Requirements: Leadership experience such as Team Lead or Charge Nurse roles, or prior Assistant Nurse Manager experience.
