Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations to ensure efficient delivery of emergency services in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.Assist in developing staffing plans, budgets, and responding to operational changes to meet financial goals.Ensure patient care aligns with planned interventions, documenting according to policies.Develop collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.Monitor staff productivity and departmental performance to support operational goals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with RN licensure.2-5 years of experience, with supervisory experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience are preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Experience: Emergency Medicine, Team Lead/Charge, or ANM experience is advantageous.
