Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and tracking departmental statistics. Responsibilities include: Hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development of staff.Participating in staffing, revenue, and expense budget development, ensuring departmental goals are met.Providing patient care aligned with age and developmental needs, documenting interventions, and implementing collaborative care plans.Overseeing staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, managing staffing needs, and addressing disciplinary actions. Qualifications: Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.2-5 years of experience; supervisor experience is not required.Active RN license required.Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and less than 2 years of supervisory experience.
