Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and handling statistical data. It requires overseeing staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to ensure departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to business changes to meet financial and operational targets.Provide and oversee patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, ensuring documentation per policy.Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.Monitor staff hours, approve payroll, and manage staff communication and scheduling, including overtime and performance reviews.Ensure departmental productivity and support operational goals through staff management and performance evaluations. Qualifications & Skills Nursing diploma/associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred.RN license required.2-5 years experience; supervisory experience preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
