About the Role
Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s).
Responsibilities
- Carry out the mission of HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA and goals of assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
- Maintain current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services.
- Maintain BCLS certification.
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines.
- Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800 certifications.
- Attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings.
Requirements
- Associated degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ full-time experience at the EMT level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
- National Registry Emergency Medical Technician.
Qualifications
- Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services.
- Maintain BCLS certification.
