Emergency Management Services Coordinator
Job Summary
The Emergency Management Services (EMS) Coordinator acts as a liaison between area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers and related departments of Orange Park Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional, and state EMS agencies.
- Assist with hospital disaster preparedness recommendations.
- Develop and implement a business plan, driving service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes.
- Ensure collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS.
- Attend Advisory Meetings for both local (North Florida) and state that are scheduled in Jacksonville Area.
- Develop quality reviews in collaboration with CCFR and JFRD.
- Schedule ride-along program and station visits with key Orange Park Hospital stakeholders.
- Maintain EMS breakrooms in compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Aid in EMS recognition to foster a positive relationship.
Qualifications
- Paramedic Training and EMT-P (Paramedic) certification in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5 to 8 years related experience with field experience included.
- Incident Command Course completion preferred.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: includes ED and Firefighter, Law Enforcement, and Disaster Management.
