About the role
The Emergency Department Technician provides support to the Emergency Department (ED) Nursing and Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients and families. Organizes, replaces and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department. Assists in other department-related activities.

Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License, or Washington Nursing Assistant Registered
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Training in orthopedic technology desirable
- 2 years of EMT and/or two years Emergency Department experience
Pay
$31.68 - $47.05 per hour (base pay range; additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities may be available).
