Emergency Department Technician II (ED Tech)

About the role

The Emergency Department Technician II – FH role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IV’s.

Responsibilities

• Assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks.
• Performs IV’s upon successful completion of an IV course.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
