Emergency Department Technician
About the role
The Emergency Department Technician provides support to the Emergency Department (ED) Nursing and Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients and families. Organizes, replaces and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department. Assists in other department-related activities.

Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification
- License or
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework/Training in orthopedic technology desirable.
- 2 years EMT and/or two years Emergency Department experience.
