Emergency Department RN (Part-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, identify deviations, and reassess patients throughout care.
• Develop individualized care plans, coordinate activities, discharge planning, and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Initiate and carry out protocols for managing medical and surgical patients, document care accurately, and utilize multidisciplinary approaches.
• Evaluate patient responses, care effectiveness, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum nine months RN experience, with one year in the Emergency Department or completion of an internship.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure (Oregon).
• Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Pediatric Life Support within specified timelines.
• Computer skills and additional pediatric emergency courses preferred.
• Additional qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree, CEN, TNCC, and the ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias are advantageous.
