Emergency Department RN (Part-Time, Evening Shifts)

Role Overview In this nursing role, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on human responses to health challenges. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized nursing care and discharge plans, and ensuring accurate documentation and medication administration. You will utilize protocols and a multidisciplinary approach to deliver safe, effective care, including emergency procedures and patient education. Continuous evaluation of patient responses and participation in quality assurance activities are essential. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of nine months RN experience, with one year in an Emergency Department preferred.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale; Pediatric certifications within six months of hire.Current RN license and skills in using EMR and computer keyboarding. Additional & Preferred Qualifications Previous healthcare experience and a bachelor's degree in nursing or related field are preferred.Certifications such as CEN and TNCC are advantageous.Ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and demonstrate effective communication skills are preferred.
