About the Role

Responsibilities

Follow the nursing process, which includes:

  • Assessment – Collect and analyze healthcare consumer data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Plan – Set measurable and achievable short- and long-term goals based on assessment, standards of care, and collaboration with the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement – Execute and modify the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning, standards of care, and evidence-based practice. Includes care coordination, education, and discharge planning. Accountable for care directly, indirectly, or through delegation, following professional and legal standards.
  • Evaluate – Use a systematic, ongoing process to evaluate progress toward healthcare consumer goals. Revise the plan of care as needed, involving the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.

Documents all phases of the nursing process in the healthcare consumer’s record.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program (upon hire)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (upon hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR certification (upon hire)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 5 months)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (within 5 months)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (within 6 months)

Pay

$36.00 - $52.20 per hour
