About the Role

This position involves providing high-level emergency nursing care within a Level 1 Trauma Center or other North ED facilities. It requires direct patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Delivering comprehensive emergency care up to trauma level 1 standards
• Modeling proficiency through precepting and supporting new staff
• Prioritizing patient safety, wellness, and evidence-based practices
• Contributing to quality improvement and secure safety at the point of care
• Providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Supporting team collaboration and patient-centered care
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and certification maintenance

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• State RN licensure
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, and BLS
• Strong clinical skills in emergency and trauma care
