Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Night Shift

Role: Assistant Nurse Manager supporting a clinical unit, acting as a future nurse leader in training. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the nurse manager to promote clinical excellence, staff recruitment, retention, and performance management. Lead daily operations, ensure compliance with standards, and foster teamwork among staff, physicians, and departments. Support budget and resource management, implement evidence-based practices, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Mentor staff, participate in performance reviews, and uphold professional and ethical standards. Qualifications & Skills: BSN or MSN, RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and minimum 3 years clinical experience. Strong communication, teamwork, mentoring, and leadership skills. Knowledge of healthcare financing, data utilization, and regulatory requirements. Preferred: national certification in nursing administration.
