Emergency Department (ED) Tech - Night Shift

Role: Emergency Department Tech Level I, a multi-skilled caregiver supporting nurses under supervision. Responsibilities: Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care including vital signs, 12-lead EKG, blood sugar testing, wound care, oral suctioning, splint application, and assisting with ambulation. Perform procedures using aseptic techniques such as sterile tray prep, dressing changes, and phlebotomy. Operate cardiac and pulse oximetry monitors, transport patients, supplies, equipment, and medications. Monitor and document patients in restraint/seclusion, recognize arrhythmias, and maintain monitors. Manage telesitter carts, troubleshoot connectivity, and respond to escalation needs. Ensure patient care areas are stocked and safe. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, BLS certification, effective communication, proficiency with computers, team-oriented, experienced in vital signs measurement, with preferred prior patient care experience.
