ED Tech - Emergency Department (Nights)

About the Role

The Emergency Department Technician serves as a liaison advocate for patients, families, visitors, and staff. The goal is to enhance the personal service experienced by patients, family members, and visitors while enabling the Emergency Department staff to concentrate on direct patient care. The individual identifies needs of patients and their families and works to improve their satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior work experience required
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills for documentation and patient, family, and staff interactions
• Able to convey clear, concise instructions and accept information to understand and make decisions
