The Emergency Care Technician position at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Albion, IN is an Internal Only role.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed.
- Assist with patient transport and documentation.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during emergency situations.
- Perform basic life support procedures as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be actively working towards a high school diploma/GED and receive within 2 years of hire.
- CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
- CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
