Emergency and ICU Veterinary Assistant

About the role

Join our dedicated team of veterinarians and support staff at Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospitals. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Perform surgeries, including but not limited to orthopedic, soft tissue, and oncological procedures
• Provide emergency care as needed
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Keep up-to-date with the latest veterinary medical advancements

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a referral setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care
