About the role
Adult Emergency Department Informatic Service Support performs clerical, receptionist, and communication duties on the patient care unit at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Order entry of all T-system orders into Meditech
- Order entry of any written physician orders
- Handling incoming phone calls
- Making outgoing phone calls to other departments and physicians
- Maintaining physician call log
- Maintaining daily physician call schedule
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous computer experience
- 1 year of experience required; hospital experience preferred
