About the role
The Embryology Weekend Lab Assistant position is available at Shady Grove Fertility in Fairfax, Virginia. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, every other weekend. The compensation is $22 to $27 per hour (commensurate with experience).
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties and data entry to support the lab team
- Media and dish preparation
- Absorb and identify samples (chain of custody)
- Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for equipment used in the IVF laboratory
Requirements
- Coursework in biology science or related field preferred
- Minimum of one year clinical/research laboratory experience preferred
- Tissue culture experience a plus
