Embryology Lab Assistant

About the role

The Embryology Lab Assistant position is available at Shady Grove Fertility in Westshore, Florida. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and cleaning of lab equipment and supplies
• Maintain lab cleanliness and organization
• Prepare media, solutions, and embryo culture dishes
• Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate lab records
• Process semen samples for insemination
• Cryopreserve semen samples
• Manage inventory and restock lab supplies
• Follow all safety, HIPAA, and lab protocol guidelines
• Auxiliary in quality control checks and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical environment is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and follow precise instructions
• Comfortable working in a highly regulated, sterile environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
• Anticipate working every other weekend (flexible)
