Embedded Software Engineer (cleared) - Scottsdale, AZ

About the role

The role involves developing security software for cutting-edge secure voice products. It is a member of a cross-functional team that focuses on software design, development, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develops software in C/C++, Rust, and embedded environments.
• Works in a team setting using a shared repository (Git preferred).
• Engages in low-level development tasks such as device drivers and boot processes.
• Participates in Agile development practices and follows software development processes.
• Applies technical standards and methodologies to solve complex problems creatively.
• Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement through AI applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Agile experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within the facility.
