About the role
Provide mental health counseling for students; present outreach and educational programs to the University community to support the mental wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional mental health counseling to students in the form of individual, group, and couples therapy.
- Provides crisis intervention for students experiencing a psychological emergency.
- Consults with academic departments and student affairs departments.
- May be involved in crisis prevention or aiding with adjustment problems after a major life event.
- Maintains confidential records.
Requirements
- Must be eligible or hold LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with licensure in Mississippi.
- Master’s degree (required).
- Three years of relevant experience (required).
Pay
$51,604.80 - $77,396.80
