ELOP Leader (TLC) Santiago Elementary 5.35 hrs/day Split Shift (6:55 am - 8:31 am) and (2:15 pm - 6:00 pm)

Under immediate supervision, this entry-level technical instructional support position assists with the operation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program; plans, organizes, and conducts specific programs and activities; provides supervision of the operations and gives direction to student leaders; directs and supervises TK-8 students in both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy. Work location may be a fixed site or flexible site schedule, dependent upon the needs of the program.

Schedule

• 5.35 hours/day, split shift: 6:55 am – 8:31 am and 2:15 pm – 6:00 pm
• 5 days per week
• 26.75 hours/week
• 10.5 months/year
• Employment type: Part Time

Pay

• Pay range: $20.07 – $25.59 per hour
• External candidates: Steps A-C based on verified previous experience
• Current, regular employees placed at the lowest step of new range which provides a raise of approximately 5%, within constraints of the salary schedule

Requirements

• Must attach proof of one of the following:
  • Passing the CBEST, or
  • Having completed two years of college (48 units), or
  • An AA degree or higher, or
  • Passing the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date
• 6 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited college, or Child Development permit preferred
• Possession of current First Aid and CPR cards preferred
