About the Role
Under immediate supervision, this entry-level technical instructional support position assists with the operation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and conducting specific programs and activities; providing supervision of operations and direction to student leaders; and directing and supervising TK-8 students in both long- and short-range activities aligned with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy. Work location may follow a fixed-site or flexible-site schedule, depending on program needs.
Requirements
- Proof of one of the following:
- Passing the CBEST, or
- Completion of two years of college (48 units), or
- An AA degree or higher, or
- Passing the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date
- 6 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited college, or a Child Development permit (preferred)
- Current First Aid and CPR cards (preferred)

Pay
Hourly pay range: $20.07 – $25.59.
External candidates: Placed on Steps A–C based on verified previous experience. Current, regular employees are placed at the lowest step of the new range, providing approximately a 5% raise within the constraints of the salary schedule.
